Giving the Blog World a Try!

I thought I would give this whole blog thing a try. There are a lot of new things going on in my life and I thought I would share them and keep friends and family updated! :)

I am working at Regency Energy in Downtown Dallas. I'm the receptionist. I'm loving it. I'm also learning HR and recruiting work. Hopefully when a position opens up I can transfer. I will finally be permanent in October when my contract with my recruiter is up. I'm very blessed to love my job so much and the people that I work with. It's nice to make some new friends. I also work with Melissa which has been fun. :)

Matthew and I had our one year anniversary on July 8th. I'm so blessed to have found the love of my life. I'm not an easy person at times...I'm even a little high maintenance and he deals with me. I'm a very lucky girl ;)
I move into my new apartment in 15 days or 2 weeks from tomorrow! ahhhhhh! I'm too excited. I think Annie (my puppy) is going to have the hardest time with the move. She won't have a backyard or her best friends to play with. I will have to give her some extra attention and spoiling. :)

Little Miss Gianna will be 1 in two months! I can't wait! I have the most precious goddaughter. I fall more in love with her all the time. She has her Aunt Robin wrapped around her little finger.
Kelsi, Amy, Melissa, me, and Mary at the Piano bar!
Sister shot. I'm a little tipsy...
We had such a great time. My mom and my Aunt Julie went too. It was a great girls night out. Thank you Aunt Julie for the drinks!

For the most part life has been really good to me. I can't complain. I do have some prayer requests.
* Doug Campbell. I know a lot of you have seen me post prayer requests about him or asking you to get tested for be a match. He is having a tough time right now. Just continue to pray for him and his family.
* A friend of mine, her dad had a heat stroke a couple weeks ago now. He is doing much better now and finally at home. Just pray that he keeps on improving and that he knows how many people love him and care for him.
* A very close friend of mine is going through a divorce. It's not a very pretty situation. It breaks my heart. Please pray for the best for both of them and for their children.

Thank you so much friends! I don't know why things happen to people and I don't think it's God doing it but I think that God is always with us through struggling times to lean on and talk to.
Pain is inevitable, misery is optional. Thank you Pastor Frank.

So my first blog...not that eventful and I will try to make them a little more entertaining. :)
